How many of us did you just get to take off our socks?
Between Roman and Egyptian by the toe test, though I'm Italian/French by ancestry.
Good fun.  Thanks.

Actually, this chart tends to be fairly accurate. It just means that somewhere in your gene pool, you got the toes you got!

Hi Joe_athens,
I'm now wondering what is the lineage of Africans, Chinese, Esquimaux and American Indians :) .
Ain't that chart old from old Western European theories (just not to say English theories) ?

Do you know why the Egyptian feet is like that ? It is said that it comes from the slaves that built the Pyramids - as those feet allow for stronger force to push rocks ... Sad way of selection, but we won't rewrite history.
By the way your chart is not accurate. In Egytian foot the big and the next finger are as long and the three other shorter... I think someone commented my feet to be of Egyptian type ... I'll check later I'm perhaps greek ... I want my corresponding greek fig-trees !

Roman.  And all my Grandparents came off the boat from Italy.

Not really a 'trivia' question tho.

So funny!

One shoe off, one shoe on . . .

I am Romano (but half German, and my grandfather's village settled by Normans in the middle ages.)

Very Clearly Egyptian, which very interesting.  And very far off of my known ancestry.
