Here's my Nero. Grew well this year with lots of figs. However, figs are as hard as stones right now. As I'm a newbie and last year I just picked up the plant, , I am wondering if I'll see ripe figs in September? Any other info on Neros would be greatly appreciated!

I'm in zone 6 and figs ripen fine here into October.  If it's cool out when they ripen they're usually not as good, but they are easily worth eating even if the day time highs are only in the 70s.  At least my Hardy Chicagos, Battaglia Greens and JH Adriatics were.
