This amazing tree was pruned and i have many cuttings to share. Did you see inside the car also!

Sunday EDIT:

The cuttings are from an no-protected tree in nasty Seattle Weather, it sits in the east side of a tall house, getting not much light from very near by houses - The only sun it gets is that morning sun,  believe me, we donot have many morning suns in Seattle.

All I am asking is, those interested in receiving the cuttings, is to compensate for postage.  I'll send regular USPS no track, and everyone gets it, about $3 for 2-3 cuttings.

I will pack  today, there is no room in my refrigerator for all these cuttings, please claim yours.

2nd EDIT:

Please indicate if you want more than 3 cuttings, and I will use the post office flat rate box full, that is about $6. Your choice, I just chopped the branches and have more than 50 juicyand healthy cuttings, with some looking like could easily be instant trees, but not sure how to ship those, would need a larger box. From now, I have them in a bucket with water, in my basement. Tonight, I want to get them all ready to travel early next week.

MONDAY EDIT- OVERWELMING RESPONSE - so many packages to process and close.  I still have many more to finish - so many PMs that becaming a bit confusing for me, please be patient with me. I should have been more prepared, but I did not cut them the same size, so, making individual wrapping is time consuming. I  will pick up more flat rate boxes at the Post Office today.  I am very short in cash for over 60 packages, even at $3 and $6, it adds up, so, please send me the postage as soon as you can.  Hope everyone will receive them by the weekend.  They are properly stored  and well cared for now.

DESCRIPTION: No pictures of the leaves of the  fruits of this tree, but  this is is how the owner describes them, other than this, we'll have to wait and find out:

"They are Adriatic figs and they look just like the ones in this photo.

http://articles.latimes.com/2011/jul/08/food/la-fo-marketwatch-20110708

The tree is extremely prolific and they mainly ripen between August 15-31. "

APRIL 3RD EDIT- RE SHIPPING/postage/ CARING FOR CUTTINGS UPON RECEIVING THEM:

1-  With exceptions of a couple, all packages went out today! Huge task I had no idea how time consuming  and overwelming this was - too many packages! ALL PROMISED TO ARRIVE ON 4/5.

2 -I charged over $180 in postage to my credit card, so I need you all to send me the amounts we agreed, if you need to confirm your amount, please send me PM, I'll review the Post Office's receipt.

3- WARNING: The cuttings have not been pre-washed, so please give them a good bath of dish soap with a little bleach to kill any insect eggs that may have survived the winter in Seattle. Do that in warm water, not to shock the cuttings. Trim a tiny bit from my cuts, if they arrive in 'dry' paper - should have some moist in. If they arrive dry, after washing, give them a chance to recover by soaking them in warm/tepid water for about 20 min before you put them in rooting chambers.
Taking these steps does not garantee that they will root, but it will help keep any bugs that may had taken a ride with them.

Wish good luck to you all.

- STILL SOME AVAILABLE but they are about 3/4 to 1" - can send them in a $5.80 flat box

Hey Grasa it's night time in your picture. Was it a hit and run? :)

No.. not hit and run! Funny, huh? Actually quite challenging to get them. The house sits on a slop, soil is very wet and dark between houses to retrieve them. I made several trips down to the tree. My dear boss told me to come and get them asap. I could only go at night time. Cool thing it I got to also meet a Forum member Nichole, her husband and one of her stick muncher. She also got to meet the tree.

Grasa tried to send me home with enough huge cuttings to start my own Adriatic forest ;)

The location I met Grasa is in my own neighborhood. The house is one I've always admired for its colorful exterior - but when I walked into the back to see the tree I was really surprised. The tree is HUGE and the shape is gorgeous. A beautiful focal point for this back yard. Never had any clue such a treat was there all the times I walked by that house.

If I miss responding your PM or email, please re-send and include your address. I have a hard time keeping up with so many PM... moving all addresses to a word document.  If I responded to your contact, no need to re-confirm.  thanks.

Still quite a bit of cuttings.

Hello Grasa. I think you should put some on ebay or CL. To make some fig supply money.
I dont think you will give it all away here so why not make a little money.

I have a few more packages to go, so, if you saw this post ad want this fig variety, claim it now, so I can make just one trip to the post office for all of them together!

You know the drill,

Send me your name and address and tell me in PM how many you want $3 or flat rate of $5.80.

Some of you may have noticed the 'greening cover', yes, that is moss that grows on everything around here due to all the rain we get. you should give them a bath in soap w little bleach before putting them in sweat chambers to root - I don't think the moss is an issue, I root mine with it, but I wash them - there were too many cuttings to deal with here, so I did not do anything to them prior to sending, except I kept their main trunk in a bucket with water to hydrate them.
