here is where? what kind of climate? if you just want to play and learn I can send you some 'unknowns' that grow well in the Seattle area.  Some figs don't do well here, but do great in hot places.  I have some of them I can share also, send me private message if interested

I live in zone 7 in TN. Freeze in Oct. Very hot in summer and into fall winters are mild

Welcome to the forum, man when I was 18 figs where the last thing on my mind. Glad to see the youth showing some interest in Horticulture. Have you grown anything in the past or is growing figs going to be your first attempt at growing something.

I grow tons of other things fruit,houseplants (over 60 African violets), I like listening to music, & Nursing (getting my Rn).

I was born in 96' I've been growing plants since I was in diapers and can't remember one I couldn't grow. 10+ acres I plan to grow my figs in pots as I want to move to florida sometime next yr or the yr after. I've tried dried figs and they're wonderful but never grown them thats when I stumbled onto this site and so proud I did.
