I could try to order or buy cuttings, but I would like to buy the whole tree if I can, without babying a cutting into a tree for the next three years.
I have seen fig trees for sale at nurseries and places like Whole Foods but they are all things like Black Mission or Black Italian, Texas Everbearing. I actually have a bunch of mystery figs, I think Brown Turkey or Celeste, or Texas Everbearing, that I grew from cuttings I took from a neighbor's fig, but the figs are usually dry and not very good.

I think I am probably going to end up getting a cutting from somewhere, but I don't really know where the best place to get them is, either. It's not really the right time for cuttings so if I go that route I will plan for it in the fall, but until then I thought I would ask here, to see if anyone knows where to find one.

I got a couple panache cuttings from harvey on ebay. They are healthy and on their way.  They are currently available on ebay.

You can google "Dave Wilson Fruit Trees" I ordered a Panachee from a retailer over the winter. I pretty much did my best to kill it. It may survive but no thanks to me.

Keep your eye on eBay.  I bought a panache tree in a 1 gal container last year.

Hi,
Why don't you try the Rimada ?
Rimada is said to be bifere - when Panache is unifere .
I know I know ... I went for a Panache, since Rimada was not available in the nurseries here ...

I have never seen this variety for sale in Austin.  Online is your best bet, I would check Encanto Farms first.

A few years ago, there was an outfit named "Sol Nursery" selling fig trees among other plants/trees at an outdoor market on Burnett about a mile or two south of 183.  They carried Panache.  They would advertise their sales on Craigslist.
