Thanks for posting, Frozen Joe. That is a good story.

You call it a 'Mission Green' and that is going to make me change the name of my unknown "Green Mission" which I had received as cuttings of Black Mission but turned out to be green. It will help avoid confusion in the future if cuttings are shared with others.

Few dqys ago bought a 100 from aliexpress for 5.5 and will see if they are good .
When do you put them on ?
Is it ant proof
What size is the one in the video?

Ottawan I did not mean to create any confusion about variety names.

Eli I use 4 inch X 5 inch organza bags on my trees.  I put the bags on as soon as the figs start to swell and turn color.  The bags are not perfect, but they do provide some additional protection.  Small ants can still get in.  Determined birds can still peck through them.  However the bags make it difficult enough that most of the bugs and birds don't bother the figs in my yard anymore.  The bags are much easier to manage than bird netting in my opinion.

I hope the size will fit most figs , as i ordered the same size as yours Joe.

Now i am gonna get some armenian fig cuttings saw on some vids they have a very big eye...
