I have an Uncle who lives in Cold Spring, NY and an Aunt in New Rochelle. They said folks are warning this one could be particularly bad.

Be careful.

My greenhouse collapsed last winter from 3" of wet snow. I rebuilt it, but just to make sure I nailed in another 100 nails with 1.25" washers today to hold on the cheap poly plastic walls. Fingers crossed. Good luck everyone!

In the Albany area we're looking at about a foot of snow.  We would barely call that a snow storm up here.  The city is where they're really supposed to get blasted.  A couple feet should be interesting in the city.  Nothing like the 4+ feet of lake effect they get out in western ny sometimes, but i imagine the city will be harder to find places to pile it all up!
Good luck everyone!  Hopefully warm weather is just around the corner so i can finally send out some plants i have to send.  I noticed yesterday looks like my RdB didn't fair well in the garage.  Kinda suprised by that.

We went from a projected 12"-18" of snow, to and actual dusting this morning.  Glad the forecasters got that one wrong for us.
Good Luck to all of you guys up north, especially the Boston and more northern parts of New England.

Yes, they really were way off here in Northern NJ. Maybe 6 inches where they predicted over 20".
Just goes to show how we can't control the weather

I am about 1000' in the NY Catskills and it is still snowing lightly.  We might end up with 6".  We don't get excited about anything under 12"...but we do grumble.

I'm sorry to hear that our friends along the coast are getting hammered.  Look at it this way.  Snow is good insulation from the wind for in-ground trees...I think.

Spring is coming.

Further up NorthEast here so far no sign of falling snow except the piles on the ground from last weeks..
Wishing safety for all those affected.

Finally over....24" and back-to-back snow days for my kindergardener. That was a real rip roaring nor'easter!   We needed that snow, it's been a very bare winter so far.

I agree Jesse, that was a good ole fashion nor'easter.  We must have at least 30" here in Eastern MA.

Here are a couple pictures of my backyard.
