What to do with the figs? Most are 1st year figs trees. The ones with well established roots I have been leaving out but its been raining a lot and for the next 7 days (As far as the extended forecast goes) it says heavy rain every day.
I'm thinking I should have built an ark and grabbed my favorite varieties for the trip. :).
Maybe I should bring most of them in the house and try and let them dry out some.

I'm leaving my pots on the covered porch so they don't get soaked.

We had a hell of a downpour last night.  I have several that went from clear cup to 1 gallon pots not long ago.  Today I placed them where they can get full sun for most of the day.  It's going to be 94° so I'm hoping it will help dry out the mix a bit.  The last big rain, I placed them under a table where they didn't get drenched and that was helpful.

my potted figs stay on coverd porch during the never ending rain ..

I move them out into the open when sun is shinning .

well, now the forecast changed, just a chance of thunderstorms everyday. Of course its all subject to change again. :).

I have about 75 or 80 now so not so easy to find space for them all under cover outdoors. The sun has been out all day and that definitely helps the situation. Up until a few days ago it was looking like a good year for figs. Still might be if we continue to get some heat here for the rest of the summer. last year was terrible.
