Hope you get them ripe before the birds get them, I heard they have a strong berry taste.
out of all the figs i own Panache (was given by a member here)  is the most exciting for me. Its is a must have for a fignatic!!

Regarding the FMV , is there an FMV free panache?

Jon - Thank you!

Speed & Joe - Thanks!  I'm anxious to post pic's of the inside, too, but it's not for the pics! :D

Eli - IF there is a FMV-free Panachee, I suspect the cuttings won't come from UCD ;)

Beautiful!  Mine, in ground has only one breba, but it's spending it's time growing big.  Those figs remind me of hot air balloons!  I'll get to taste my first one this year too!  Woo hoo!

Only in zone 10...  I'm pretty jealous   :)   I pull a panache out of my garage in Feb in hopes of getting fruit.  It turns out all of the above ground stems had died but it came back from underground nodes. Just a week ago my dogs ran over it and broke off most of the stems.  Sigh.  This is up there as one of the best fruits.  You'll love it!
