I requested January of 2014 and have not received them yet, but they say as late as April plus I had multiple requests since then, so probably not so straight forward.
Some folks have received theirs already.

There was a topic that was locked recently that got ugly, so hopefully that won't happen again. If we can refrain from posting our justifications for requesting or shipping cost, it will probably work out.

Nothing here. I screwed up my order though. It was my fault. I think I'll be the last one to get my order.

Yeap, same here. I think the label was generated automatically by the system, but not at the shipping time. Spent all Thursday waiting with a case of cold beer.
Beer is gone, no cuttings were seen. On a positive side, the beer was damn good in 100F heat :)

My cuttings arrived today via UPS! Yes mine also had said shipped for a week or so—don't worry they will arrive!

So I had ordered 8 varieties and I recieved 4 varieties for a total of 6 cuttings. I recieved:
3 Alma
1 Violet de Bordeaux
1 Col de Dame
1 Celeste

Excluded were:
Black Madeira
Ischia Black

I was super excited for the Black Madeira, but I am not complaining! Going to go take some neighborhood cuttings now and then run to Home Depot to get a large enough clear box to use my spaghnum moss rooting method!

I am so excited!

Got mine yesterday.

Received:

3 alma
3 panache
3 excel  (a surprise! I forgot I ordered this...nice thick cuttings too!)
2 barnisotte
1 VDB
1 Ischia Green
1 Celeste (why I didn't just go buy a plant for 10 dollars is beyond me, in hindsight)

Did not receive
Verte (surprised about this...didn't realize it was so popular....or so unhealthy...one of the two)
Ischia Black
Black Madeira

I split all of them into 2, as many were 10-12 inches.  I do feel guilty...I want to donate to them or something, as I fear my contribution to "research" or "agricultural education" is limited.  They obviously put a lot of time and effort into this, and I am grateful.

As to everyone else...good luck!

Received a notification that a shipment is pending. No idea what I will get since I went a bit overboard with requests over the course of the year. I'll be happy with any. Just wish I could find a source for native persimmon virginiana root stock just in case I receive any to graft.

I just got my order!

Received: Yellow Neches, Zidi, Marabout, Verdal Longue, Barnisotte, Col de Dame, Capri Q, Rattlesnake Island, Capitola Long

NOT Shipped: Cole de Dame Noir, Black Madeira, Adriatic, Lampeira, Bourjassote Grise

I only got Rattlesnake Island because the name is awesome, and Capitola because I used to live in Capitola.

Two of the items on my not shipped list were sent to me (unexpectedly) by other members.

I am very happy =)

I went to the UCD website and it said that cuttings are only available to researchers so I didn't submit a request.  How does this work?

Thanks,
Paul

Paul, don't worry.  Just say you are researching how a certain cutting will do in your climate.  The real researchers are first in line, but they will respect your order.

I was honest about it. I said I was experimenting to see which ones will grow best in my soil with minimal irrigation. That's hardly research, but it has been a good enough excuse for the past two years.

Received a notification that my requests were picked up yesterday based on the label created on the 31st, so I should receive it next week.

Regarding my hunt for native persimmon root stocks, I found about a dozen, good sized (for transplant and grafting) male persimmon trees lining the ditch on my road!

I just completed my order for next year and got the confirmation.  Man, that was tough!  Do you know how many Wine Grapes I had to scroll through?  OMG 1,670 something!!  Ficus Carica was cake!  Only 217 varieties.  Pistachio.  Easy.  Got an unknown male and female.  Ordered one Pomegranate that is so sweet they make wine out of it.  THEN, because I use that Fed Ex account rarely, I had to open a new account because they closed the previous one due to lack of use.......

I put my Fed Ex number in the section for Comments.

Here is what I used for their research section, and it is the truth.

Intended use of material:
I plan to root these cuttings and plant them in the Groasis Waterboxx's here on our property in Riverside County.  They will require no irrigation and I will be able to report to you after 2-3 years.  Our plan is to convert our entire property to the waterboxx technology to help save water in the drought, yet produce healthy fruit and nut vines and trees.

Some of the "research" we can do might be helpful. For instance, CDD blanc here (in the ground) withstood 12F briefly this winter with little if any damage. Enderub was forgotten outside and made it through the winter in a pot and is bearing figs.

I couldn't help wondering so I sent Mary an email asking if they were still shipping cuttings and she assured me that they are still shipping. Three weeks later, last Thursday, I received my cutting request in the mail! It was more exciting than Christmas! I setup my automated mist propagation system and added my Fig and Mulberry cutting to the mist bed. What a feeling! Thank you Mary!

I didn't get a notification either. They just showed up in the mail. Nothing wrong with sending Mary an email asking to verify they have your order. I ordered last July, so yes you can order for next year and I believe the cut off is in November.
