So I finally took the figs out of the greenhouse (except 1 that seems to love the extra heat). They all look great and seem way ahead of the game. But a couple seem real spindly - like they grew too fast? It's even causing the branches to be weighed down. Should I just clip of the long ends hoping to promote outward growth? Or leave them alone for now and wait until fall? I'm sure some of you experts know whats best. Thanks

I've been trying to attach a photo from my iPhone, but can't. Tried editing and cropping it, that usually works, but not today.

I noticed that in a White Genoa I took out of dormancy in a pot. I'll have to get a photo. But compared to the others, it's very spindly/leggy. In fact, when I brushed past it last night, I broke a left stem.

If we catch our limb eating critter, I'll send him to you. He's good at taking out the growth tips. Suzi

Here's my spindly growth. So spindly growth plus curled leaves. It's a White Genoa and a Vista.

Spindly usually equals not enough light. Those do look spindly. Are they now in full sun, or is it just really cloudy there? Suzi
