The LSU Gold was ok, I've tasted better, but I've tasted worse. I think it could have used another day on the tree, but I was checking it, looked like it had some sort of critter damage, and it came off.
the VDB was wonderful, berry sweet.  In future I will leave all vdb breba on. At my location they ripen during our hottest and driest summer month.
Also had a Petite Negri (EL) today, also wonderful. another plant to leave all breba on.
Colosanti Dark has half a dozen of so brebas on, one colouring and drooping, should be ready in a few days.

Grant, your LSU Gold looks very different from mine. My LSU Gold produces squatty like
figs.

My LSU Gold hasn't wowed me yet with taste but it sure is a reliable producer! My young tree has about 30 figs on it so I'm willing to give it more time to improve in flavour.

Hi Paully22, Are the main and the breba the same shape? The main crop looks short and squatty right now.
Hi Tyler, this is the first year my LSU Gold has made any figs, I look forward to seeing how the main crop tastes.

How old are your trees? Will flavor improve over time?

LSU Gold is 3, I sure hope it does improve in taste.
VDB and PN are 4 or 5, they taste fine, any improvement would be icing on the cake.
