A good season for this variety Always very sweet and tasty. A great table fig (fresh) and one of the best light figs for drying. Francisco Portugal

Luke, thank you for your comments This Pingo de Mel, IMO is not a Croisic. We do have several strains of this type with close characteristics Think it is more like in the family of the honey figs (Dottato/Kadota) Francisco Portugal

Looks very nice and delicious. Unfortunately for me I had a few cuttings from a generous f4f member but I couldn't get them to root. I am hoping next time I will have better luck.

Thank you all for your kind words Pino Sad to hear that problem..think you should try again. Rafael, Yes, they were involuntarily caprified although being quite far from the Caprifigs.. wind may have helped. Igor, Correct! I had the same thought francisco Portugal
