This has been an incredible fig this year. I got it because Marius described it as having " a banana pineapple flavor". I was skeptical, but thought it still sounded good. I'll be darned, he was right! It was like a banana with a sweet honey flavor. It was so unique and unlike any other honey fig I've ever had. I've had about half a dozen since and am always eagerly anticipating the next ripe one. Definite keeper!

I just obtained a little one of these and can't wait. Can you tell me anything about the growth habits and productivity please.

I got a two year tree in a 15 gallon container from a forum member earlier this year as it was on my wish list for a long time. It is productive and vigorous for being root bound. I am thinking about putting it in the ground after this year. I thought I read about Marius having it inground, too. It is definitely a very unique fig with its sweet banana flavor.

I had no idea that flavor profile existed in figs, thanks for sharing!
