Hello,

I trimmed a few trees today.

The cuttings will not be cleaned or disinfected...straight from the tree as is, cut this morning, very fresh.

El Molino is a very nice fig and was IDed as Patlican but I do not know if it needs caprification for sure or not. I am asking for your help (especially from the areas with no wasp) to try to figure this out. The cuttings were cut on a sunny side and should root happily, I think by the end of summer many may see the figs and by the Fall we may have the answer. It is an early fig in the SoCal (one of the first to ripen) and in case it is a common fig, would be valuable for regions with short seasons.
I will add a cutting or 2 to every package, if it’s ok.

There should be enough cuttings for several people.
Please PM me. I am asking to cover the Priority shipping ($6) + $2

Still available   /  GONE (i.e. not available any more)

Tena - 2  (4)

Stella - 2

Black Mission -2

Sultane - 1

Long Yellow - 2

VdB - 1

Negronne - 4

Excel - 1

Strawberry Verte – 2

El Molino - 6

Wow! You guys are quick!
The numbers besides the names are for the cutting quantities (as I mentioned, a few).
And almost all were claimed already!
I will update the list in a sec.

All cuttings were mailed today.

The only thing I would like to ask is to update me(us) on the El Molino fruiting status.

Thanks all and good luck rooting them!

Galicia Negra, Violetta,
Violette de Sollies, Dan_la's Black Beauty 10, Craven's Craving, Most important: YOUR FAVORITE FIG. A lot of people put emphasis on popular/exotic cultivars, which is great because it highlights some of the better fig varieties; however, I am most interested in the figs our members love regardless of pedigree.
Currently Growing: a bunch of varieties.
