Really good fig. It does look like it could be among the suspected list of AKA's of Sal's Corleone..

I don't have any of the others to compare directly, if I did it wouldn't be a bad thing. This fig doesn't taste like any other figs I have. Good refreshing flavor with a ton of syrup. I only let my tree ripen 2 figs this year. The first one I picked a couple days early, the honey drop threw me, but it was still delicious. The second one was probably exactly as ripe as I think most figs should be, my phone wouldn't take a pic because the battery was almost dead. I have to say, it may have been the sweetest fig I have ever eaten, which to me means it's alright to pick this one early. The ripe figs skin looks a little darker in the pictures than they really were, maybe just a little more red in color in real life.

I have my first ripening now, and am really looking forward to it. The brebas (Pics attached) are awesome as well.

The fig pictured is actually a main crop. I had pretty heavy spider mites early on in the season and many of my trees dropped a leave or two.

Sigh... I picked mine too early. It was however still delicious, sweet and rich. Pretty impressive for an under ripe fig. I can't wait for more.
It ripened well in cool weather and was an impressive size (I was too ashamed of how under ripe it was to take pictures). It looked like the pictures you posted, but just a shade lighter.
There are a couple more starting to swell, maybe there will be another this year.

I had terrible spider mites too this year, must have been the cool wet spring. They were a big part of why my figs are just now ripening.
