These figs were seen in a house in Italy. the fruits seem to be enormous size. Anybody knows the name of this variety? 20160701_065208-1.jpg  20160701_065208 -.jpg

Hi,
My two cents on Longue d'aout !
Do you have a better pic of the leaf ?
A completely ripe fig ?

Very nice looking fig tree.
I hope that it is Longue d'aout !
I have Longue d'aout from cutting, it grows very fast here even with cool climate here.
It doesn't have that pretty long finger leaves yet.

I think there is a chance that you may have a wrong labeled cutting or it may be that in some conditions the small plant doesn't show this pattern until later.

Anyway, I went looking for a earlier photo of my young Longue d'Aout and the 5 finger leaves pattern was there from the start (right side plant on next photo)

I couldn't get much closer because of the fence and hedge. I believe the ripe figs were eaten by the owner. Ha. ha.
