Here is a fig I picked a few months back. It is called Hmari. I got it from Bass. Amazing taste!

i got one from Bass also. I believe his originated from Syria.
I also have hmari originating from Palestine/Israel which is a dark skin variety

Dennis looks great. Love those dots on the fruit.
Akrous they could be related but you are right aoit the exterior which is sbayi like - red- brown with lots of cracking at late stage.

This is the Hmari that I have ,the one at the front, it looks different, it is one of the sweetest figs that I have ever tasted.
