just bought Black Madeira fig cutting from eBay seller sgtwardog95 and Sumacki, sefrawi, Syrian Homs, abrade from seller kingeliii I am new but I can tell its one seller and all cutting come from the same tree . Thanks for the 'heads-up' about this fraudster... The only entertaining part of all this is the chuckle that we get to enjoy at the expense of this mental giant, who failed to disguise four supposedly different cultivars from two supposedly different sellers, even though he was sending them to the same Ebay purchaser and to the same address; simply brilliant! Well, let's see if we can brighten your New Year a little bit: I'm about an hour north of you, and have cuttings rooting of some of the figs on your wish list. The Black Madeira photo the seller sgtwardog95, shows on eBay was stolen, from Amazon, Or this might be the same person! What a waist of time and effort ! Why buy from someone unknown??? when there is no way to know what you are buyng for at list 2 years. You can open a case with eBay, "item not as describe" in order to get refunded. I suggest you do it. These low life scammers are making it difficult for legitimate sellers to do business on eBay.

Ebay always sides with buyer. This will automatically put a hold on his funds. You have to give a reason. When you do it. No way to prove this so say they are all dried out or something and you want to return. Thank you Bluemalibu for your generous offer . i will sure purchase from you since I don't honestly have anything to offer you in return. I am thankful for everyone's help here.I enjoy learning from everyone here. Yes I did open a case with eBay . I have done a little search and found out sgtwardog95 , kingeliii 13 figger and ebatihk also Batik in some place,are same person .God knows have other names too .he is around 25 years .very dishonest and lies about his source.he uses some of those names on dating side with same state .taking advantage of passionate and honest people . He is scammer be careful . I got 4 variety from him.if you see closely and compare all those rare cuttings you bought ,you will find out they are from same tree and same hand writing.

Looks like eBay took his adds off or either they expired. He had a couple on earlier today. I just looked and couldn't find them. I took it upon myself to notify eBay earlier today of his fraudulent adds. I have interest in this matter since I too sell on eBay and people like this does nothing but hurt buyers and the convidence of buyer buying on eBay. I tried to contact and questioned him of his source of his CdD Rimada, but have not received a reply as of yet. Maybe if everyone here on the forum unites against know scammers and notifies eBay of there fraudulent actions we can get action from eBay to do away with them.

Shaw916, sorry to hear about your ebay purchase! I am sure i bought a couple fraudulant cuttings in September when i first got started with figs. I didnt know any better. My only positive is that I labeled my bags with the seller names so when I start rooting i will know which to eliminate. I may have a couple on your list from doubles in packages i have gotten from F4f members and I am happy to share. I will start rooting next weekend so please PM me with whatever is left on your list and I'll let you know what I can send you. People here have been so very generous with me and I want to pass that along. Speaking of generous, I want to thank Greenfig (Igor) for gifting me some very, very nice trees! I feel quite fortunate tobhave found the forym first, and then only bought cuttings from folks that were members. First I figuredbthey probably ciuld be trusted (so far so good!), and secondly they probably know what they got! It my fi rst experience at both growing figs and propagating plants from cuttings. I can't tell you how giddy I am about the little roots starting to sprou!. Shout-out to all the folks out there bringing us noobs along! Hi Guys.. Don't want to defend anyone but it is too early to be a judge on the Cuttings just looking at them . Wait till they grow and if it is a scam... take action... but I have my doubts that you can tell just looking at the cuttings that they are from the same tree or worse that they are of the same Cultivar.. You sound like a professional with 100 years of experience.. Are you an X ray man ?? Nobody in the world can tell the cultivar or variety just looking at the cuttings. without many other things, like leaves,fruit etc ... It is very arguable field even between specialists.. Sorry! This is my Opinion! Don't be a Judge !!

you are so right evladi7654 I am not professional or X ray man .just new in this field . I saying this because even when I put all cuttings together . three of different variety ,their cuts fit together like a puzzle in one long branch.

I have caught eBay seller sgtwardog95 in several out and out lies and then he will change his stories!
