Well 6 pounds of Swizz fig cuttings are in the frig used canning wax to seal the ends, washed in water with some beach let dry 24 hours or so wrapped now in saran wrap, first time I ever went this way.

Left the mother tree outside it drops to minus 20 a few days here in Southbury CT. 06488 with a wheel barrel of wood chips around the base and a tarp over it with stones on it, spring should be interesting. Black jacks are in the garage left my Chicago hardy uncovered, last year it bushed out to much will let it freeze down to the ground and only let one shoot live, perhaps then I will get bigger fruit. Also put in the garage the one from the republic of Macedonia, my friend from there said its very cold hardy, but so far the Swizz one has proven to be both very hard to clone, and the most cold hardy

Peretta, Morena , rosa Rotonda .. I find peretta very similar to LDA's but early. Ripened main crop for me despite having cool English summer 2015. Morena produced few brebas. image.jpeg  image.jpeg  image.jpeg  image.jpeg

This is the Swiss fig peretta which I got from Lubera. I think it's a better LDA strain

Feel free to send a couple pounds across the pond. :)  Figs look great, and the cold hardiness is good news for a lot of our members.

Wish list:
Galicia Negra, Violetta,
Violette de Sollies, Dan_la's Black Beauty 10, Craven's Craving, Most important: YOUR FAVORITE FIG. A lot of people put emphasis on popular/exotic cultivars, which is great because it highlights some of the better fig varieties; however, I am most interested in the figs our members love regardless of pedigree.
Currently Growing: a bunch of varieties.

Not sure, a buddy of mine wanted to market them on ebay if we can root them, the guy who gave it to me, I can't find anymore, it's been over 10 years ago online, where he lived it was warm, NM. He never tested it against the real cold, we had snow in my part of town last year in the last week of April I have never left the mother tree without any wood chips at the base and a tarp over it, if I can make some clones I will leave it totally unprotected, and even take pics in the snow. I was hoping last year for that, but I had bad luck rooting I even had a large plastic bottle around one branch which I remove and have it potted in the garage, with my black jacks but I even doubt it rooted much. I would have to say looking at a 3/4 inch cutting the bark is thicker than a Chicago hardy bark, which roots like a weed for me, but not this one she's hardy, and very hard to clone. Which, if I figure a way to do it, i would be very happy

Your tree, fruit and leaf pattern looks very similar to Figen Morena. Its a beautiful fig, produces tons of brebas and main crop. Lots of people think its similar if not identical to English Brown Turkey, however I think its different. I am growing a variety called Bronholm which could be identical to Morena. Very nice tree and nice pictures, thanks for sharing.
