HELLO,I NEED TO KNOW WHAT TREE TO SEND TO ZONE 9 IN FLORIDA,I PROMISED TO SEND A TREE DOWN THERE ,CAN I GET SOME INPUT TO WHAT VARIETIES DO WELL THERE,THANKS,I NEED TO HEAR FROM THE PROS.

I would assume the LSU varietals do well there considering they were bred to do well in the south

Before sending fancy names ... What do you have at hand ?
To Zone9, I would send a lemon tree or a persimmon tree ... LOL . Or for a fig tree, "healthy Longue d'aout" if you have that.
The problem there will be the rain, so go for small or closed eyes varieties and varieties that ripen quickly.

~i have letiza, h-c, white bronx,desert king,vdb, paradiso,celeste,blk bethlehem,florea,white marselies,sal's el,gurney's everbearing,vashion violete,long neck yellow,kathleen blk,red sicillian,geno's blk,mbvs,rdb, any of these good for z9 florida ?~i was thinking celeste or vdb ? what do you think ? ~

A lot depends on how close to the ocean they are.  Fig trees don't do well with salt over the long term.

Why not? I'm asking because my Grandparents just got a fig tree this year, and they're less than a quarter of a mile away from the ocean.

I think the healthiest fig trees I have seen were right by the ocean 100 meters from the water with lots of salt spray from waves hitting the rocks. I can see if there was salty ground water that the figs roots were sitting in that could cause problems.

There are a few pictures of figs growing on rock cliffs near the ocean in Google images but they have "watermarks" so I won't link them. :)

The L S U Figs will do Great for you. Bob I live I mile from the Gulf I can go to my friends place down the street and see the waves hit the beach and at night heard the gulf. The only signs I have seen is once in a while the leave get burn on the edges from salt mist from fog and that's with all the fruit trees here no big deal
