I got this new grow light and it has a clear plastic "light difusser" that covers each T5 bulb. Should I take the diffuser off or keep it on? The other Jumpstart grow lights I've used don't have a diffuser. Wonder if it's just aesthetics or if it serves a purpose. Couldn't get my phone to take a non-blurry picture.

There is no need for it.

I would remove it. You'll want as much light as possible. Less stress when transitioning to full sunlight eventually.

The diffuser also serves a safety purpose, protecting the bulb from getting broken (or raining down shards of glass if it does). Having said that, FiggyFrank is probably right and you can use the extra light more than the protection.

Sounds good, I'll take it off.
