Not sure about fig seeds but I tend to soak my seeds for a few hours and then direct sow them. I also tend to lightly spray mist the seeded area daily until they sprout. Has worked for me with great success. Good luck.

Hi,
Just easy: put the seeds in a pot of dirt from the nurseries, and let them grow.
You can even throw them on dirt outside, and they will grow.
I'm in zone7 , no pollination occurring, and I have 2 free born seedlings growing in the garden and one I seeded in a pot. No fruit for now ... I'm hoping that they are girls ...

Seedlings are not the best way for propagating figs, as local common knowledge as it, that most seedlings are caprifigs (boys) .
I hope to get mine to produce figs ... As I want to figure that out by myself ... Just for fun.
My fig producing trees were almost all bought from nurseries. Being on a forum, it is much fun having named ( and supposed to be documented ) varieties.
Good luck in your endeavor !
