I stored the cuttings in the fridge and then I wrapped the cuttings on wet paper

About 3 weeks ago a friend gave me a huge branches off his unknown tree ( it may be IC ) WELL I CAME HOME AND DID NOT FEEL LIKE MESSING WITH IT. SO I CUT THEM UP IN 14 INCH CUTTINGS WRAPPED THEM IN WET NEWSPAPER PUT THEM IN A BLACK GARBAGE BAG ROOLED IT UP AND PUT ON TOP OF FRIDGE. TWO WEEKS LATER ROOTS EVERY WHERE. AND NO MOLD AT ALL. CRAZY HOW WHEN YOU DONT TRY YOU SUCCEED AND WHEN YOU TRY SOMETIMES LEADS TO MOLDY ROTTING CUTTINGS.
YOUR WAY OF DOING THINGS IS OLD SCHOOL AND WORKS GREAT. NICE WORK.

I didn't knew it was old school but I had way to many cuttings so I gave away all but 6 and every cutting seems to be doing well. I had a problem when 2 weeks ago there were some very hot days and the sprouts were burned because of the plastic but the one that got the most damage is now sprouting from other eye.

The bag method is old school to me i guess. ;)
Do you move from bag to soda pop bottle as soon as roots are developing. I think i may be waiting to long and roots get broken and get a lag time in growth
