The two varieties have the same leaves, the same taste, the same color fruit inside and outside and the fruit ripens at the same time. Different is the size of the figs. The fruit of the Improved is 2.5 to 3 times the size of the Celeste. The Mystery and Improve have same size fruit: soooo goooood.

WINRERS ARE VERY MILD LOW 20'S BUT WARMS RIGHT UP DURING THE DAY. SUMMER IS EXTREMELY HOT & HUMID 100 degrees 100% humidity fig tree grow like crazy but some split from rain & humidity

I have seen it on Ebay. My son had one given to him. Mine came through him. This year I have both and am enjoying them greatly. I am leaving the old Celeste for the birds.
