Hi.
I was just watering my fig trees and noticed the figs on the tree were striped. The tree is an unknown so I was wondering if it was a striped variety?

It's hard to tell with no picture. A Panache or Martinenca Rimada the fig and young branches will be striped. I don't know about the rest. I am more curious about what it is.

You need to open it in microsoft office and resize it for webpages. If you email it to me through this website I'll resize and post it for you.

A lot of people put emphasis on popular/exotic cultivars, which is great because it highlights some of the better fig varieties; however, I am most interested in the figs our members love regardless of pedigree. Currently Growing: a bunch of varieties.

It kind of looks more ribbed rather than striped, but maybe I just can't see ithe striping in your picture? A lot of my figs do develop a "ribbed" look though as they mature.. Could that be what you are seeing luigil?
