I would say they are close, but due to different climates, were they are started, and, other differences like soil watering light ,day temperature, etc.,they do not look exactly the same.
When you get ripe fruits and they are ,very dark red inside and delicious you will have no more worries!.
If the fruits are amber or light pink inside, when ripe, then you got a misnomer,,till then,I would not worry, about nothing!.

Had my first col de dame gris today and I do not think it was the real thing? the sad part is I got it from a well known member on ebay and paid big bucks:( The leaf pattern looks true and the exterior looks true but the inside was amber and the taste was average.Could interior color change over time? I will post pictures. Also will they ripen this early?

Grant, please show a photo.  Amber pulp definitely does not sound right plus the CdD family is a very late fig.  Even in your zone it is would be surprising it would already be ripe unless it had a head start in the greenhouse.

I will post pictures soon. Everything is spot on except interioir color and taste.I had some muscadines that I bought 5 years ago that were supposed to be a variety called jumbo which is a big black grape, for 4 years it produced bronze grapes that were medium size, this year they are large and black and the whole time I thought I had the wrong thing.See how I am confussed?

Color and taste and size can change in the first 1-2 years dramatically from what I have seen.
