Galicia Negra, Violetta, 
Violette de Sollies, Dan_la's Black Beauty 10, Craven's Craving, Most important: YOUR FAVORITE FIG. A lot of people put emphasis on popular/exotic cultivars, which is great because it highlights some of the better fig varieties; however, I am most interested in the figs our members love regardless of pedigree. 
Currently Growing: a bunch of varieties.

Agreed it's not much to go on. Piccy was posted to me by a fig lover based in Alexandria, VA. They were shop-bought, and described as 'delicious'. No other info. available, but was curious to know what you guys thought.

As for colour, I might be splitting hairs, but it looks more like a kinda deep mauve to me rather than purple. 

Thx for the suggestion SM - I'll check it out in the D/Base for proximity.
