Definitely bush form and wispy leaves. A dwarf type.

Could be a 20' tree. I keep mine to about 10', but it would be smaller if I had pruned to bush shape.

You will attract lots of fire ants into that electrical box.

In my opinion, VDB is not a dwarf fig. It can get very large given the right climate. My oldest (16 years old) grown in a 40 gallon container and trained as a single trunk. It's 8 feet tall and multi branched on top. The younger one (5 years old) grown in ground and has a bush shape- dies to the ground each winter. But, puts on 5 feet of growth each season after being killed to the ground every winter. VDB will get large (if grown in ground in warm climate).

My 1st year in a 5 gallon is at 6'.

My 1st year in-ground is 6' tall and 6' around.

Both are from cuttings started 1/16.

The fig itself is a smaller fig with a great flavor. First year even.

Probably any fig tree could get large in the right climate. However, I believe VDB is known to be a dwarf variety but I guess it's all in how you prune it.
