Today I picked my first China White. It's a pretty fig, medium size, and this one has a large eye. There were no bugs and it didn't sour due to the almost daily showers we have been having. It's hard to say to much about it because it is the first one ever. The fig was very good, sweet, with a taste that wasn't figgy. It had a different taste to it but with only one fig it's hard to describe. There are a few more small one that I hope will ripen, maybe I'll be able to tell more later. For now I give it a thumbs up.

Rosdi, I don't have this fig anymore. It was a good fig and had a nice size to it but the eye was just too big for my location. The figs grew mostly with the eye facing up and rainfall spoiled them very quickly. I would be a good fig for a dry location. Thanks for your inquiry.

That is a nice looking fig despite the huge eye lol.

Despite the large eye size, I could see this fig being a "greenhouse only" favourite for those in climates that are less dry yet who still wish to grow it.
