Beavers move in a little more than a month a go, not to far from my home, cutting every thing in site down. They can do a lot of damage in a short time. It is hard to get them to move. They are bad!! |

Looks bad. Hopefully it is legal to trap or remove some of these munchers permanently. I have learn plentiful by raising issues I encounter. Its experiencing doing things differently, learning, sharing + enjoying the hobby. Growing figs have been most interesting for me as there are many variables & varieties to try. Of course the long distance friendship cultivated. Yeah I even got to enjoy some superb food, courtesy of Akram(Ottawan) like over 4000 miles away. |

Hey you don't have to be knowledgable to ask questions. I know very little about figs but I'll learn. |

Man if I didn't ask any questions I'd be lost and have a bunch of rotten sticks in the dirt. |

you can always contribute your experience, which is something that not even the fig elders here can have ;) |

Well Luak, I have never seen the damage a beaver can do to a tree not even on T.V. I guess they don't want to show the distructive side of the critter. Do they go after fig trees or figs. |

I live on Beaver Lake in North-west Arkansas. The Corp is death on these animals but i let them live. There are a lot of roads, lanes, avenues etc. named after them here on the lake including myself i live on Beaverview Rd. They don't bother me except when i am fishing of my dock, that is if i spend too much time they start slapping with there tails(it is noisy and fish quit biting). |
