someone gave me a cutting from their tree, the type is unknown , what is the best way to deal with it? take the leaves off, and put in dirt , leave leaves on and put in dirt? help!!! |

We do have a vineyard, so propagation is a no brainer to me. Grapevines want to live, and so do figs. All plants are the same. |

You have to use a soil that drains well. the roots need moisture and air to survive. |

It's definitely a nice looking fig. Once you get ripe fruit post pictures of the leaves, the ripe fruit, the inside of fruit cut from stem to eye and someone will help you. Best to start a new thread. |
