Jennifer, when adult gnats drink water from the new leaves,that is how it looks like... please look under the leaves. I bet you you have a night munching crowd under them.  See, I have an upper shelf on my window, so I see those plants from below, that is how Ifound the idiots...and they are evil! the cutting is just reacting to loosing moist in those punching holes. Since I put tents on my leaves this spotting have stopped!

And if the Ital 258,is from me you are OK,if not Grow one from me and another from other source and keep the healthiest one!
You need healthy cultivars in your climate,to survive Winter!
Diseased cultivars will not do,at under 0 F.

I had some do that, in the greenhouse, in January. Don't really have a gnat problem, though, so am thinking it is something else.

It looks like some sort of deficiency to me. What else is different about that plant, fert, potting mix, lime, water... Don't do anything yet, stay calm.

Darn gnats. I don't get irritated that easily but those GNATS are starting to piss me off

Jenn, That doesn't look like gnat damage

It looks like Sunscald to me. Since the veins are/look healthy there is no disease issues. Usually this happens on young leaves when there is a big temp change between days and nights, or when the room or temps are cool then it becomes hot too fast. Also, they need to be kept in a shaded area, not in a sunny location. I do not think it's over-watering since the majority of the spots are in the middle or close to the veins. Over-watering will cause the cells around the edge of the leaves to burst. That will cause the edge of the leaves to turn brown and die.

Keep the temperature constant, also keep them in a shaded-semi shaded area.

It does look like sunscald Navid. I am not used to seeing it that consistent across the whole leaf though and the older leaf looks more affected to me which is weird.

Can we see a whole plant pic and the undersides of the damaged leaves Jennifer? Also, is that mealy bug fuzz at 2:30 in the picture?

Taking all the advice, putting it in Semi shade. Also temps inside the house has been fluctuating on purpose. My power bill is at a whopping $315.17! So I was keeping my power at 50-60°F in day and then 70-80° at night.

It could be due to the larger surface area and the higher absorption of light (especially the UV rays).

You don't have to heat your whole house while away during days. Just get an electric heater that has a digital thermostat. Leave it in the room where your cuttings and plants are, set it on 72-75F. It will keep the temperatures in that room constant and warm. That is what I do.

Just remember- young plants and rooted cuttings do not take the temperature fluctuations well. They have to be kept at a constant temps (70+) at all time, if you want them to flourish. Humidity should be around 65-75% as well. More than that will cause root rot, below that they will drop their leaves.
