Wanted to share my latest roadside conquest... Spotted this on a hiking trail that runs alongside the highway and although the fruit doesn't look that great, I couldn't help myself. I don't know what it is, but it's a fig!!!!! |

I'm on a trail right now in Washington and no figs. I rode my bike for hours and didn't find a single tree. I dont know how you guys are doing it. Great find. |

i only found 1 tree since i started growing figs. but it's on someone's backyard, and very young tree. probably from HD, Lowes or Sam's club. |

One morning I was going to work I saw some ladies picking mulberries. So I took a walk up that same street and lo and behold there is a fig tree growing in a vacant that's for sale. Well needless to say I went back home and got my clippers and clipped a piece of both. |
