With over two feet of rain here since June 1st, I'm afraid a lot a trees have significant root rotting issues. I just pulled out carrots from a fairly well draining raised bed garden and half of them were rotting. Once it turns hot and dry, I'm afraid a lot of the larger trees around here are going to start show just how much damage is done from sitting in warm water logged soil for two months. God forbid a decent ice storm this winter - its been almost 10 years since we've seen a good one. |

Good for my rain barrels too! I don't like mowing so often though. |
