A man brought me a tree, said it was a "snowball Fig", didn't know anything else about it.  Anybody know anything about it?

Guessing it's a light fig the size of a snowball. That would be nice if it is.

Maybe he thinks it has a snowball's chance in hell of fruiting.

The is what a Snowball fig looks like. Best time to harvest is December through March. With sometimes extended seasons like we had recently.

Very juicy but do not place tongue directly onto the fruit. And stay away from the Yellow ones!

Rafed,
Is the taste insipid, berry, or figgy?

I don't know what insipid is. But it is bland.

I don't either, but I saw it on here, and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn.

Danny,

So you're one of those who pretends to know how to pronounce the fancy fig names?
Don't worry, I do too. LOL

Here is the rest of the story......
The man said it was called a "snowball" fig because the figs were as big as:

a)Snowballs
b)Snowballs
C)Snowballs
D)None of the above
E)All of the above

I do not expect much from this tree but you can never tell.  If it turns out to be a Blue Giant or a Fannicks Giant I will give it to Billy Earl as they do not taste very good around here, very insipid, LOL
