I have this fig (zone 10b) and when it ripens it is like seedless jam. Even when not fully ripen the taste is sweet. It is a good grower and never cracks or spoils not even in rainy weather. The eye is closed and they get yellow long before ripening. When extremely hot some figs drop. Completely seedless. |

Great looking fig Paul, I grew this one for 3 years and never fruited since I had so many supposedly better figs in my collection I discarded it what a mistake. |

Nelson, I am either a stubborn or slow learner or a combination. Over the last 2 to 3 yrs I am finding that not all that glitters is gold. I found many supposed to be high quality figs are either too ordinary or not suitable to my zone or my taste preference is at a different level. As is, I am mostly consolidating & this focus have unearth many gems this season like Yugo Yellow, Gypsy, MaryLane, Red German etc. Even less knowns like Nardi Blk, Vincenzo, Large Greek Blk and Enrico taste better than many, many figs and these variants are home ground variants. |

Hey Paul, I agree with you. Allot of the first variants I got still remain better tasting that the fancy named figs. |

. Here is mine from 2014. She's got figs, but not yet ripe in 2015. The drop of honey tastes like the best honey ever, and mine does have some seed crunch which makes me adore her more! |

Congratulations. Mine has not yet fruited for me. Hopefully this year. Can anyone compare this to the Janice Seedless Kadota, taste wise? |

Waht is the growth habit of this tree? Is it very vigorous? Does it have long node spacing? Waht are the leaves like? etc... |
