Hope to share with friends in a couple of years. Had pleasure to eat one of these figs in Italy last month, very rare. Went to monastery where mother plant lives had to drive 5 hours to get there, but it was worth the trip.

Mario,
What color was the interior? What flavors did it have? Size?
Thanks for sharing the photos.

Thanks for the pix Mario. The fruit and leaves resemble Dalmatie (Stella)

Mario,
Where was the monastery? Is the fig named after the monks, or does it take a baser meaning?
