A forum member gifted me an 18" tree in the spring and I sure am glad. It has grown very well
and is now almost five feet tall. This is an excellent Greek fig. Little sweet raspberry flavor, a little crunch and the skin is just a little chewy. One of the favorites this year at an 8.5.

Tami, it is very nice looking inside and I wish the pic was better. It is another ugly fig  on the outside though, but who cares. LOL

Mike thanks for posting these pics. I'm happy to hear you rank it that high for a young tree.

Is this the same Greek Kerarinai fig from Marius?

Yes Gorgi,

This is from Marius's cuttings.  Hoping mine mature the figs they have set on them. It looks great.

mike, if other greek figs are like this, i'm gonna have to go shopping for new trees.

I have eaten several of these and they have been consistently very good. After the one this morning this is my overall
best tasting fig this year at a 9.9999 and still holding out for Black Madeira to ripen.

Dennis, I'm not sure how Kesariani did for Mike, but mine here in CA performed very well. Very productive for a young tree, ripening lots of sweet, medium sized, tasty figs. I'll be able to judge it better next year.

Figgary,

Looks beautiful. Is it a late fig?

Looks great, Gary! If there's another figganza next year, should bring a few for the tasting. :)
