My RdB has some figs on it that I assume are starting to ripe. The figs swelled up and turned red now going to almost jet black. Tho they are getting black and soft none are displaying the tell tell hangmans neck. No drooping at all. What are the tell tell signs this fig is ripe. |

My RdB's didn't "hang" either, but were getting very soft. I figured it's because they were so small that they didn't weigh enough to droop. Still, I probably picked them a day or two early. |

They have almost no neck, don't expect them to drop like most figs. Just feel them if they're soft they're ready. |

Ok soft is good. Are we looking for cracking, seaping from the eye. And I assume when they are black not red. |
