There is a priest somewhere in Reggio Calabria has a collection of old breeds of Italian livestock and fruit trees. My nephew knows him so I'll try to find out more. When my daughter visited there 10 years ago she was only interested in his animals, specifically the spectacular Girgantana / Agrigento goats. She didnt even look at the fruits. Now that I remember this, I'm eager to find out about his trees. |
