I would love to hear from anyone that is growing both of these to see if you have a preference. I am mostly interested in knowing if one is more cold hardy than the other or if one ripens sooner. I am not interested in getting a breba crop. Of course I would love to hear any taste comparisons between these. Thanks for any information. |

Derek , I am only growing Atreano and it is an excellent and productive fig ,but more than any other fig I've grown , it has to be really fully ripe to be really good. At least here in NH , it goes from bland to great only at the very end of ripening. |

Thanks for the offer of the cuttings but I already have both growing though they are quite small. I am thinking about planting on a very small scale to sell the fruit and I need a good green/yellow variety that is cold hardy in zone 7 and ripens relatively early. Hardy chicago and celeste do very well for me and are excellent tasting but would like to add something a little different. |
