It's been a struggle but I finally have some reasonable success with one of my cuttings. Only one took but that one is pushing roots out the bottom of the pot and is putting out a leaf. One little tree, one big struggle, but feeling victorious tonight. Knock on all the wood we survive the acclimation process when we get to that point! |

Great to Hear of the Success, Keep Posting Pictures. I was reflecting today on my process of rooting, always making adjustments. |

I'll add in a proud photo moment of my other hobby from the weekend. Sadie at her 2nd agility trial. It was a good weekend.

I've had loads of recent failures too. Out of my last two batches (40 cuttings) I've only gotten about 15% success. ouch.. |

Sadie looks pretty pleased with her self. What cuttings did you try this year? |

The variety is colar. It is my fault the other two cuttings didn't root. Winter/spring hasn't been kind to me so I was late pulling them out of my fridge. The thinner cuttings didn't have enough to pull through but the fattest cutting has pulled through. I have one other variety rooting now, Longue D'Aout. Lots of leaves. I don't see roots yet in the root cube but lots of leaves. |

My little colar is getting acclimated to the big world outside of the humidity chamber. So far so good! |
