What else but an obsession would make a person clear land, in the summer, in Florida?  94 degrees, 90% humidity but the figs need more land.  This is Rafed's fault.  Tomorrow the new plants go in and the irrigation, 40 ish new varieties.

As the acting judge and jury of this case....I find the defendant, Rafed, guilty as charged! A repeat offender, no less.

Looks great Wills, very nice piece of land for feeding that obsession.
This is an obsession I've given in to and embrace.

Rafed, I am not choosing sides (I have to be politically correct because I may need help from the two of you in the future) but your humor is top notch! FIGuratively and literally speaking.

I rented an escavator Friday afternoon and my brother is still running it. I will carry it back Monday am before driving to Savannah to work for week. But I have new ground cleared and stumped. Talk about obsessed.

What does it mean when you finish clearing your own yard and then move on to clearing the adjoining sections of the neighbors yard...and moving the surveying markers so that it looks like it's your yard?  (This is a completely hypothetical question, of course ;-)

I don't know but I can tell you what my wife said when I removed all of the crape myrtles from the yard! And then tried to explain I was replacing them with figs. Yea right Jim. I beleave you.

Good move Hershell, crape myrtles are a mess!!! I couldnt stand the one we had at our old house. I tried to convince my wife to let me replant the entire front yard with edibles but she probably said exactly what your wife did!

Hershell, I removed the two crape myrtles I had as well and replaced them (mostly) with edibles including a fig.  I'm sure the neighbors think I'm nuts.
