Way of saying Howdy--I'm Dan--Papa Doc. Born in Tallahassee, FL many moons ago. Been raising figs 15 years or so. Stay in middle Georgia, USA not far from NewnanDawg. Married to childhood sweetheart for 45 years. Went to FSU & veterinary school. Presently practicing veterinary medicine--semiretired. Have 2 grown kids who are high school teachers--math & music. Have greatly enjoyed reading F4F Forum & appreciate great advice rendered. Zone 7B. Use figs for canning & eating fresh. Fully realize there are MANY experts on forum & I place much trust in their knowledge. Rafed seems to stand out as well as Mike(NewnanDawg).
