I think it was Mike that posted his top 10 about a year ago on the other forum and zingerella was near the top. I went looking for it and finally my good friend Rafed came through with a whip, cut it in to 5 pieces and all took. Started it in the winter and it was planted in ground March 15th. It grew great and was able to put some airlayers on it a month or so ago. Today I was checking the airlayers and what do I see a ripe fig:) It was excellent and for the first fig from a bush a few months old I was truly impressed. |

Wills, my Zingarella bush is loaded but I am still waiting on the first ripe fig (rooted in spring of 2013). This is one of the healthiest figs I have - the leaves always look perfect with no splotches to be seen I'm glad that both you and Mike think highly of the flavor. |

Steve, my small Zingarella also has super healthy leaves, and especially large leaves probably for being planted in partial shade. |

Wills, that's a nice looking fig. Great that it's a healthy grower and roots well too, maybe it'll get around so that I can cross it off of my list. Everyone seems to agree that it's a tasty fig. Hopefully you'll taste a few more this season. |
