Ok, I got one used, washed and am experimenting it to cover the branch that has some special figs. I like it so far, but cannot find online anything like to show you all. Mine has a cone shape, very strong, so I can shove the entire branch in there,  and so far, no bird damage.

Next time you go to a paint shop or Lowe's, Depot, look for these bags... they make great way to protect the branches.

Thanks for the alternative source for bags...especially since they are easily found in the big box stores like Lowe's, Home Depot, and hardware stores.  Nice too that they come in different sizes.
