Nice pickings today.  LdA was definitely my favorite.  Good and meaty with lots of sugary sweetness.

 
 

Great news We have a couple 4 footers we grew this year and next year we are hoping for a bunch of fruit

I did an air layer on LdA this summer without ever tasting this fig.  Now I'm very glad I did.  Of course, there was enough feedback on the forum on how good it was anyway.  It's a true winner, as the fruit is typically twice the size of the mountain type figs.
