Thanks to very good weather, that we had (warm and dry) my fig tree, decided to grow again. ;)

I am in the same boat here in Louisiana. Big beautiful trees still growing strong. The only fig in my yard that knows enough to shut everything down is good ole celeste. I don't think it's a coincidence.

Hi Maris,
Cut down on watering and fertilizer. Despite the temps, day duration should be shorter by now for you as well.
That will get the trees to go dormant.
Do you have a lighting system near that tree ?
I often see trees near public lights keep their leaves green for a longer period.
If so try to shut down that light ...

Of course not. I don't use any lights ;) Fig grows in garden, just like another tree. I don't watering and fertilizer this fig. (only rain does). 

BTW I think that is to early to shed leaves.
