I did get seed and they are growing great. One variety are larger than the others. I will try to take notes when I'm back down at the greenhouses. Thanks again for the seed. |

I was already annoyed with some common types that didn't fruit didn't want to keep something for years and eventually it be a caprifig or Smyrna so I gave it to someone who wanted to do a bonsai. I also had a few mission and kadota seedlings that shared the same faith. |

Wow! That's beautiful! I am glad they do so well for you. You will notice in a while that the seedlings from the same mother fig will start to look and grow differently. I am always fascinated by the way the Nature does things. |

These seedlings are the powerhouses lol. Funky coloration on some leaves. Is that normal? |

Nice! Do you keep track of the varieties? The coloration might mean some nutrient deficiency but I wouldn't worry about it until next August. As soon as they are outside, they will be happy growers. |

Is there any research on the possibility of FMV being transferred from parent to seed? |

Is there any research on the possibility of FMV being transferred from parent to seed?
Any virus can be transfered by seed, yet that is very rare for FMV to do and there are other things that make a fig's leaf look like FMV makes them look.
|
